My family name is Haag and according to family stories, my grandfather(many times) was a rabbi in The Haag before the family moved on to Hamburg and Altima in Germany in the 1600's. Where should I go to look up Jewish life and citizens in your cities history?

Try contacting the Historical Museum den Hague directly. They had a WW 2 exhibit when we we there that prominently featured the deportation of the Jews. They may give you a lead.
