Hi there, We are heading to Sydney in July of this year and are interested in booking a climb on the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb. Would anyone recommend booking in advance (so booking in this or next month) or would it be better to book when it's much closer to our trip? Any guidance would be appreciated.

They do multiple climbs during the day of varying lengths. We did a 3.5hrs climb (longest) with our group having a maximum number of 14 climbers and it was fully booked out, having booked about 8 weeks prior. Should the weather be a problem the climb will be rescheduled. It is very popular even in the cooler months.
Does anyone else have a story about how difficult it is to get a refund from this company? In my experience, they won’t accept any reason... not even a once-in-a-lifetime, international pandemic.

it depends what time of year you go. i would look up sunsets in sydney which will give you the time frames by date and then you go by that.
