Hi, I did the same and approached the Taxi booth in the arrivals hall. I thought the fee was very high @ around 500baht but I couldn't see any alternatives in the limited time I had available. The taxi took me the long way around but there nay be some restrictions is using the shortest route as there are soldiers stationed there.
