ORLANDO, Fla. — Saba Lobjanidze and Jamal Thiaré each scored a goal Saturday night, Brad Guzan made nine saves, and Atlanta United FC beat Orlando City 2-1 in the regular-season finale for both teams, with the victory helping the visitors clinch a wild-card berth in the MLS Cup playoffs.

Atlanta United (10-14-10, 40 points) won back-to-back matches for the first time since March, but they needed help based on other MLS results in order to gain a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Goalkeeper Brad Guzan made seven saves for Atlanta, which had anxious moments down the stretch.
