The new zones were put in at Rampart High School, Mitchell High School, Jenkins Middle School, and Carmel Community School. The city identified these schools as being heavy traffic areas and thus more likely to see potential accidents involving students.

Four new traffic zones have been installed outside of Colorado Springs schools as part of an ongoing initiative.

The City of Colorado Springs says there are four new school zones that people should be aware of.
