Peter Dinklage is stepping into the world of Dexter. The Emmy-award winning Game of Thrones actor is set to join Michael C. Hall in the Dexter spinoff series Dexter: Resurrection. Dinklage will play a billionaire venture capitalist named Leon,

America’s favorite fictional serial killer just cannot be kept down, based on the fact that "Dexter: Resurrection" is in the works. The upcoming limited series is the fourth installment of Showtime’s franchise of TV shows inspired by Jeff Lindsay’s series of novels following a murderer with a moral code.

Dinklage, who is best known for his roles in “Game of Thrones” and “Avengers: Infinity War,” will join the “Dexter” follow-up as a series regular, joining cast members Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, David Zayas, James Remar and Jack Alcott.

Dexter: Resurrection will arrive in June 2025, and the anticipated spinoff will include a popular cast member from Game of Thrones.

Resurrection alongside Michael C. Hall and Uma Thurman. Dinklage, 55, is perhaps best known for starring in HBO's Game of Thrones. His portrayal of Tyrion Lannister earned him four Emmys and a Golden Globe.

Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Peter Dinklage ( Game of Thrones, Avengers: Infinity War) has officially joined the series regular cast of the Showtime Original Series Dexter: Resurrection, from executive producer and showrunner Clyde Phillips. Production began in New York last month and will premiere this summer.

“Resurrection” is the latest attempt to expand the “Dexter” world. Along with “New Blood,” Paramount recently launched the prequel series “Dexter: Original Sin” with Patrick Gibson in the lead role and with Hall providing voiceover narration.
