Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a fix for the broken map in Fallout 76. Believe me when I say I tried everything ...

Fallout games are well-known for their random encounters, and Fallout 76 has taken random encounters ... There are lots of locations dotted around the map that are random encounter trigger points.
