Joe Buck will call a MLB national telecast for the first time since 2021 when he provides play-by-play of the Opening Day game between the Brewers and Yankees on ESPN.

Joe Buck will return to the baseball booth on Opening Day. The legendary broadcaster will call the Yankees’ season-opener against the Brewers on March 27 for ESPN. It’s the first time Buck, 55, will be the play-by-play man for a national baseball game since the 2021 World Series.

With the start of the MLB season just over a month away, ESPN made a major announcement about its Opening Day broadcasting team on Tuesday. Joe Buck, the play-by-play voice of ESPN's Monday Night Football, will call his first national MLB game since joining the network in 2022.
