Team Ninja will release a Ninja Gaiden 2 Black update in mid February to make “balance adjustments” and add “additional features.” The update was announced on X/Twitter but little was said about what it includes specifically.

The remake released as part of a concentrated effort from the Japanese publisher to put Ninja Gaiden back in the limelight. Later this year, a full-blown sequel named Ninja Gaiden 4 will also launch on the PS5, with development already 70-80% complete.

Not the exact remaster some were hoping for, but Ninja Gaiden Black 2 is still an action game with few equals.
