Storm Watch been posted for a large part of Arkansas. This Watch will likely become a Winter Storm Warning as we get closer to the onset of precipitation Thursday. All of the state should see some type of winter precipitation late this week with major travel problems expected.

The winter storm will roll into Arkansas Thursday, and it is expected to bring major impacts, including freezing rain, icy road conditions and possibly up to 10 inches of snow in some parts of the state. The Arkansas Storm Team and reporters will provide live coverage on KARK 4 News. A stream will be available in the live player above at 2 p.m.

The FOX 5 Storm Team is closely monitoring the potential for another round of winter precipitation in Georgia next week. Our reporter caught up with a number of people who had prepared for wildfires with built-in systems.
