One arrest has been made and at least two more are expected in connection with the death of a 20-year-old Southern University student after an off-campus fraternity hazing ritual, Baton Rouge authorities announced Friday.

Caleb McCray was being booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish jail Thursday night on one count each of manslaughter and hazing.

According to BRPD, arrest warrants are pending for two more suspects involved in the hazing death of Southern University student Caleb Wilson.

Louisiana authorities investigating the death of a 20-year-old Southern University student say they expect multiple people to face charges in relation to the case.

Wilson died on February 27 while reportedly pledging Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Louisiana police are now investigating the 20-year-old's death as a possible hazing incident.

The death of a 20-year-old Southern University student in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is being investigated by law enforcement as a possible act of fraternity hazing.

Now, according to local news outlet WAFB, a former Southern University student was arrested Thursday. Sources told WAFB that 23-year-old Caleb McCray, a Southern University alum and member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity, has been charged with criminal hazing and manslaughter.
