A man allegedly was shot dead by his son Sunday night in Cedar Park. The son later was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

At around 11:30 p.m., officials say police found their suspect dead from a "self-inflicted" gunshot wound. A resident told FOX 7 Austin she has lived in the neighborhood for 24 years and had never experienced anything like this before.
