Paterson is at least the third New Jersey city where ICE raids have been reported since President Donald Trump was sworn in on Jan. 20, after regaining the White House on a platform that included a mass deportation of undocumented immigrants.

Immigration enforcement operations continued in major cities across the U.S. on Tuesday as the Trump administration to tout a crackdown on illegal immigration.

Federal ICE agents launched raids in New York City early Tuesday as part of President Trump’s illegal immigration crackdown, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said. The agents hit at least three locations in the Bronx and took at least two people into custody, sources said.
