Two Cincinnati chefs and one bar owner have been named semifinalists for the 2025 James Beard Awards. The restaurant and chef award nominees were announced this morning on the James Beard Award Foundation's website.
Three Cincinnati restaurateurs among 2025 James Beard award semifinalists
Three Cincinnati hospitality leaders have made it to the semifinals list for the James Beard Foundation’s 2025 Restaurant and Chef Awards. The organization announced the semifinalists Jan. 22. Finalists will be announced April 2, with winners named during an event at Chicago's Lyric Opera June 16.

Three local names have been named as 2025 James Beard Award semifinalists. Two are restaurateurs and the third owns a popular cocktail bar in Over-the-Rhine. Jordan Anthony-Brown, chef-owner of The Aperture, is a semifinalist in the Emerging Chef category.
