Authorities are searching for answers into the death of actor Gene Hackman, 95, who along with his wife, Betsy Arakawa, 65, were mysteriously found dead in Santa Fe.

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife were found dead in their New Mexico home Wednesday, authorities said. Foul play is not suspected, however authorities did not release any details of the circumstances of their deaths and said an investigation is ongoing.

Two-time Oscar winner Gene Hackman, 95, and his wife Betsy Arakawa have been found dead in their home in New Mexico, the Santa Fe New Mexican website said.
