Another self-driving car service is coming to Texas. Not long after Waymo started offering robotaxi rides to select Austinites, Tesla announced plans to put its own cars on the road with a fleet of vehicles set to launch in Austin in June.

Tesla will introduce a paid autonomous ride-hailing service in Austin, Elon Musk said during an earnings call discussing the automaker's financial results for 2024.
