ALLERTON, The Bronx (WABC) -- At least eight people were hurt and dozens of families are homeless after an apartment blaze in the Bronx burned for 12 hours. The fire broke out in the upper floors of the building on Wallace Avenue just before 1:45 a.m. on Friday and was finally under control just before 2 p.m.
