OMAHA, Neb. - Dunkin' is running low on doughnuts at some of its U.S. locations due to a temporary supply shortage. Stores, at least across Nebraska, New Mexico and some other states — don't have the breakfast staple on their shelves. Some Dunkin' stores are facing a shortage of doughnuts.

Dunkin’ dropped the “Donuts” from its brand name years ago. Now — at least in Nebraska, New Mexico and a few other states — it doesn’t have doughnuts on the shelves either.

A handful of stores across the county had no doughnuts “due to a manufacturing error,” The Associated Press reported. Some did have the company’s doughnut holes or Munchkins available. Tyler Raikar worked overnight and stopped by an Omaha, Nebraska, location that was doughnut-less.

Several Dunkin' locations in Nebraska reportedly didn't have any doughnuts to sell on Thursday, Jan. 9, and Friday, Jan. 10. The shortage was reportedly due to a 'manufacturing error.'
