On the heels of his new country album Look Up, the former Beatles drummer will play the Nashville institution in February

Though the Beatles are best known as titans of the rock and pop worlds, the group has always had some country ties. Starr put out his first country album back in 1970, called Beaucoups of Blues, and he's continued to embrace the genre and its artists in the decades since.

Bill Anderson country singer, songwriter, and television host also known as “Whisperin’ Bill” released his most successful song ‘Still’ in 1963. In 1961 Anderson was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.

The British Invasion will include a Ringo Starr performance at the Grand Ole Opry. The former Beatle was recently invited to make his Opry debut. The invitation came Tuesday, when he played the first of two sold-out headlining shows at the history-rich Ryman Auditorium in support of his new country album,

Country music legend Buck White has died. He was 94. The news of his death was relayed from his four daughters by another country music legend, Ricky Skaggs, on his Facebook page.

Tuesday night in Nashville, Emmylou Harris invited famed Beatles drummer Ringo Starr to make his Grand Ole Opry debut in February.

The British Invasion will include a Ringo Starr performance at the Grand Ole Opry.
