In the city of Kherson, southern Ukraine, civilians have started to hope for heavy rain – the only weather conditions that prevent Russian drones from flying overhead, they say.

Russian air defenses shot down more than 100 Ukrainian drones Sunday over Russia’s western regions, Moscow officials said, while 17 people were injured in the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih in a ballistic missile attack.

Russia bombarded Ukraine with 60 Shahed attack UAVs and unidentified drones on the night of 21-22 October. A total of 42 drones were destroyed, 10 disappeared from radar, 1 flew to Belarus and 3 turned back to Russia.
