For the first two years of the new generation of Super Bowl logos, the colors on the logo have lined up with the game’s eventual matchup — Bengals vs. Rams and then Chiefs vs. Eagles. That streak only ended last season when the Ravens lost to the Chiefs in AFC title game, but we came awfully close to three in a row.

The Chiefs are expected to blitz Jalen Hurts. They also have dominant defensive tackle Chris Jones — and quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Super Bowl LIX is now set as the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will go toe-to-toe in New Orleans with the winner hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. Both of these teams have punched their ticket down to the Big Easy with impressive wins in the conference championships.
