The Railway Ministry has formed a committee to investigate the Jalgaon incident, where 12 passengers died after getting off on tracks due to chain pulling. The Commission of Railway Safety will not take up the case as it is considered an "incident". The committee will question passengers and investigate the cause, possibly a fire rumor.
