Mexican soldiers are deployed along the U.S.-Mexico border following deal after Trump threatened tariffs against Mexico.

Hundreds of Mexican soldiers were mobilized on Tuesday to the border with the United States as part of an agreement that halted U.S. tariffs on Mexican imports under the condition the Latin American country cracks down on fentanyl trafficking.

Around 1,650 troops from Mexico's National Guard arrived in Juárez, Mexico on Tuesday as part of 10,000 troops sent to reinforce the southern border.

About 1,500 members of Mexico’s National Guard deployed to the US-Mexico border with Arizona after a deal between the two countries was struck.
