Saturday's game between the Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets has been postponed due to inclement weather in Atlanta, the NBA announced. The game was scheduled to tip off at 3 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena.

The NBA said the decision was made “to prioritize the safety of the players, fans and staff due to the severe weather and hazardous icy conditions in the Atlanta area.”

Three of the seven NBA games scheduled for Saturday have been postponed indefinitely -- two because of the California wildfires and one because of a winter storm in Atlanta.

A winter storm warning was in effect for north Georgia, including all of metro Atlanta, from 5 a.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday. Areas in the winter storm warning saw several inches of snow on Friday and up to half an inch of ice.
