CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns (1-6) season was all but over even before quarterback Deshaun Watson went down with a ruptured achilles tendon against the Bengals (3-4). The injury kind of summed up the Browns season so far. They have yet to score 20 points in a game and can’t get out of their own way, committing too many penalties and turnovers.

The Browns officially placed Deshaun Watson on injured reserve, while they also announced the signing of quarterback Bailey Zappe among other moves.
