The New York Yankees have advanced to their first World Series since 2009 after their win over the Cleveland Guardians in the American League Championship Series. They will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers who advanced after beating the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series.

Dodgers World Series tickets went on sale Thursday morning, and they didn’t last long. Despite the $800 price tag, tickets sold out within the day for all four prospective home games at Dodger Stadium.

Before Saturday, the closest Judge ever got the World Series was his first full season when the Yankees fell in seven games to the Astros in the ALCS.

The 2024 World Series is set to feature a lot of world-class talent. Both the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees have some of the best players in baseball and will meet for Game 1 of this series in Los Angeles on Friday.
