Former LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman will be part of the organizing committee for the Brisbane 2032 Summer Olympics, the Australian said Thursday.

Well, that didn’t take long! After being ousted from his LIV Golf CEO position and replaced by Scott O’Neil earlier this month, Greg Norman has already found a new gig in the sports world and it’ll be pretty close to home.

Greg Norman is set to link up with organizers of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics. Local media has reported that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese picked Norman to fill a void on the 24-person organizing board for the Games.

Greg Norman is a man who has done a lot for the world of golf, although his latest decisions have not exactly caused positive reactions.

Jon Rahm was in the Persian Gulf this week, playing in the DP World Tour's Hero Desert Dubai Classic. It is one of the more iconic tournaments on the European Tour each year. Rahm posted a respectable opening round, but fell flat Friday, carding a 5-over 77. That was enough to send him home packing for the weekend.

Greg Norman is set to link up with organizers of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics, with News Corp. reporting that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had picked the famed golfer to replace a retiring politician on the 24-person organizing board.

Scott O'Neil took up the mantle after Norman as the new chief executive officer of the Saudi Arabia-backed golf league. Recently, the 69-year-old former CEO spoke about his contributions towards the evolution of LIV Golf. As reported by the Australian Golf Digest, Norman said in the interview:
