LOS ANGELES (AP) — LOS ANGELES (AP) — Hope Bancorp Inc. (HOPE) on Monday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $24.3 million. The bank, based in Los Angeles, said it had earnings of 20 cents per share.

The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.09 per share. The largest U.S. cellphone carrier posted revenue of $35.68 billion in the period, which also topped Street forecasts.

Verizon Communications (VZ) came out with quarterly earnings of $1.10 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.09 per share. This compares to earnings of $1.08 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.
