Oct 18, 2022 · As an avid MMO player for almost 20 years, Tibia was my last beacon of hope (or until Ashes of Creation launches, haha, anyone else?). I just wanted to give my 2 cents based on past experiences on other games and maybe try and bring some good ideas to make Tibia better than it already is.

Finally most mmos have a subscription just like Tibia, also most mmos have their players pay for expansions, think Tibia summer+winter update combined, that e.g. raises the level cap, gives a whole new set of areas and gear to start the grind over again and keep the players playing, at a slow pace of a bit of progress each week.

Tibia has grown a lot in the past years and there is a lot of stuff to do in the game, but Cipsoft still does everything to make Tibia a race for higher numbers. It is fine for 17% of the players, but very discouraging for over 60% of solo players. Cipsoft is fully aware that this is the case.

Jan 22, 2024 · The game isn't the same anymore, with a thousand pay-to-win elements that didn't exist before, but that's not even the worst part. The most incredible thing about Tibia was always its community and the politics of the game. Things mattered; there were noobs, beggars, powerful and influential players.
