Sony blocks majority of payment methods now in a pathetic effort to stop people from buying in cheaper regions the only solution is to try another card but majority of the time they'll decline it, if it wont add the card the first time dont try to add it again theyll block you from trying to add another card.

Jun 23, 2024 · I’m trying to purchase the Elden Ring DLC but the PlayStation store refuses to accept my card. I’ve verified that all of the information is correct, but every time I try to submit it, it says “please check your credit/debit card information and try again.”

My debit card just won't get added despite all the information being correct. Not the first time this has happened either since it happened on PS4 too with multiple cards over the years. Sheer incompetence. I just find it silly that I'm forced to buy digital codes to fund my wallet rather than just being able to add my debit card.

Mar 31, 2023 · Not really sure of they keep your info after buying, but again, that's what I do with my credit card. Put it in, buy what I want, then delete it. Or I buy psn gift card close to or more then the value of what I want. They were hacked like 3-4 times the past like 15 years. So yeah, don't really trust their security

Dec 27, 2022 · Double check information, try again later, or try a different card. Long time ago I had issues adding my one card too. Kept saying it was wrong. Ended up being a small discrepancy with the address and name info. Their system wants exact information so if something is spelled or shortened it has to be exactly as it is on your card.
