Dec 29, 2022 · Regardless of what their marketing says, or if the gift card says can be used at playstation.com, this excludes direct.playstation.com. You are unable to use a gift card to purchase any physical hardware. They only accept credit cards. I know its a little late for those who bought people gift cards for Christmas.

Oct 17, 2022 · You are literally in the PlayStation store, there is a option for store and buy a PS5. There is nothing letting you know you are being 'redirected' to a different store. To answer OPs question, the only things you can buy with your Wallet funds is a digital game for yourself (not your friends), digital media (movie, etc) or a PSN Subscription.

Sep 3, 2023 · Easiest way to add Funds is to buy a digital PS Store Gift Card on Amazon. The voucher code is emailed to you immediately. Launch the PS3 Store and select 'Redeem Codes' from the menu. Enter the voucher code to add funds to your PS Wallet. Make sure you add enough funds to cover taxes, which aren't added to the Cart until checkout.

Dec 13, 2019 · If anyone from PlayStation sees this, there should be an option to add gift card credit from the child account. The way you have to do things now is very roundabout and I can see this being ultimately confusing for parents who thought seeing up Family managed accounts to monitor/limit their children's gaming.

The only gift cards you can buy with Amazon gift cards are ones that are only sold by Amazon.com LLC such as PSN, Xbox, and eShop cards. EDIT: This no longer works. Amazon removed the option to buy any gift card or digital content with gift card balance.
