Feb 11, 2022 · I purchased the Surface Duo (1) about 5 months ago. I have had non-stop issues with the phone. Microsoft has been very difficult to contact and get support regarding the issues. About 6 weeks ago, they exchanged the phone for a new device promising the new device would work better. It does not.

Whenever I want to fold the phone, I hear some cracking noises. It cannot be open flat, and I am required to move it around to have it open. I would like to have this fix.

Hi All: You are correct in that for Gen 1 Microsoft Surface duo phone which originally had AT&T as the service provider, eSIM will not work.

Sep 23, 2020 · I have a Surface Duo on t-mobile and it supports wifi calling. Yes, no question it works on T-Mobile, which uses an open Wi-Fi calling model, so as long as the phone supports it (as the Duo does), T-Mobile does too. AT&T also works with the original locked-to-AT&T version. Verizon doesn't currently work. This is on Verizon to fix.

Feb 10, 2021 · Hi, I'm experiencing a frustrating issue related to MMS. I have the unlocked Surface Duo on Red Pocket (MVNO using AT&T). Everything is working great except to send / receive MMS messages. When I setup the APN and save it, it won't retain the default,mms,supl under APN Type. I've restarted, reset the network, and factory reset.
Surface Duo not displaying 2nd Edge browser window
My Surface Duo originally had the ability to show one Edge interent browser window on one screen and a 2nd window on the other screen. This let me view 2 web pages at the same time. At some point, perhaps 6 months ago, the ability disappeared.

Update your Surface Duo to the latest software version and see if that fixes the problem. Perform a factory reset of your Surface Duo by going to Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset).
