Dec 18, 2024 · Several ammo vendors have restrictions such as: Won't ship to California or FFL-03 + COE not accepted... must be other FFL type. I HAVE had good luck with Ammo Hero, Top Gun Ammo, Selway Armory, and Ammo Supply Warehouse.
Crescent Victor Single Barrel Shotgun
Sep 30, 2024 · On top of the barrel is stamped Genuine Armory Steel The barrel length is 24 in. The stock has been replaced from a donner Crescent Victor gun as the original was cracked where it mounts to the receiver. I am attaching some photos of the gun to help illustrate things.

For a 410 double with screw-in chokes and shipping with 5 chokes at $630 CAD I thought it was a decent enough deal to try. There are tons of warnings about budget doubles online, but my experience thus far (Stoeger, Baikal) has been positive.

"Knickerbocker" Hammerless No. 6 (Armory Steel), No. 7 (Twist), and No. 8 (Damascus) were listed from 1904 to about 1910, then the "Knickerbocker Improved" with coil spring locks until about 1916. Catalog No. 18 c. 1921 listed the "American Gun Co. No. 6 Knickerbocker" with the earlier 'V-shaped main springs'.

Dec 8, 2016 · Crescent and A.J. Aubrey used "Armory Steel" 2. J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co. No. 97 with a barrel take-down pin was marked "Triplett Steel" No. 100, 110, 105, 107, 115 & 125 singles were listed with "Electro Steel"; post-1916 No. 105 had "Compressed Forged Steel". The No. 165 singles in 1912 also had "Electro Steel".

Jun 2, 2013 · I believe the used "Armory Steel" on their barrels. They look an awful lot like the Crescent/American guns but were considered to be of a higher quality. The Meriden Firearms name was used 1905-1918. A.J. Aubrey was the earlier name. They made some highly engraved models that have a substantial collectors interest. This is a Crescent:

I understand that American Gun Co is a trade name of Crescent Firearms for H.D. Folsom Stores. I would like information on the age of this shotgun. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
